How to get involved and support National Widowers’ Organization

Find out ways you can help others who are grieving or how you can support them and us provide this much needed service for widowers nationally.

The strength of the National Widowers’ Organization relies on your involvement. There are a number of ways you can become involved. Contact us if you want to help. All these opportunities are available or will be coming very soon to this site:

  • Volunteer Opportunities– Do you have spare time to help us add and update our support group links? Are you interested in surfing the Internet to dig out new studies or ideas relevant to men grieving the loss of a loved one? Do you want to spearhead the start of your own men’s bereavement group in your neck of the woods? Look through our “How to Start a Widowers’ Group: A Manual for Men” and consider what might work for you. Or write us and let us know your ideas.
  • Help the National Widowers’ Organization Help You– This is how you can make a tax-deductible financial contribution to the National Widowers’ Organization, as it grows with the growing number of widowers.
  • Calendar of Events–coming soon–Attend talks, events, lectures, and get-togethers in your region that will be listed and updated here on a regular basis.
