One of the many challenges that bereaved widowers experience is planning and making meals for themselves and their children. Many men have never cooked and frequently say that they “don’t know their way around the kitchen.” On top of their grief they’re experiencing since the death of their wife/partner, they are trying to maintain a sense of normalcy when everything is out of control. For widowers who now are left to raise their children on their own, the task of feeding them may be overwhelming. We are hoping that the recipes we offer are ones that will be simple to put together, yet nourishing for your family.
